This category aims to celebrate those females, who have dedicated significant time and effort to cast talent in advertising, film, television, stage, and online content.

A brief overview of what the nominee has contributed in the past 2 years to the communications profession and the community, including contribution to the progression and development of women within her organization and/or the wider industry.

Showcase the nominee’s major production output during the judging period, highlighting at least one major project/piece of work. Demonstrate how the nominee’s production efforts have contributed to the overall quality of execution across scripting, casting, and directing, and the effectiveness and success of this work against the target.

This category aims to recognize campaigns that champion the equality cause and contribute to the promotion of women. To be eligible, the campaign should have been live in the market in 2023 Outline the central idea behind this campaign in answering the client’s brief (250 words – 40 points). Evidence of the quality of execution and integration in multiple media channels (200 words – 30 points). Demonstrate evidence of its effectiveness and success in targets set out by the brief

This award recognizes a female lawyer who has dominated in the financial institution practice area (Banking, lending, and insurance) advising on high-stakes legal matters concerning the industry.

This award recognizes a female who has demonstrated a commitment to innovation, thought leadership, and the goal of raising the number of women working in fin-tech. It includes female executives, founders, managers, employees, consultants, and other fin-tech industry stakeholders.

In an increasingly complex tax and legislative environment, Auditing and Consultancy firms are an important part of advising on transactions, compliance, and business performance.

This award recognizes the female auditing and accounting firm that has exceeded expectations in their dedication and performance for clients on complex business matters as well as shaping business success in the 2023 calendar year. Based on business growth metrics, the award considers the activities, strategies, and actions of auditing and accounting in terms of driving increased revenue and efficiencies.

This award recognizes the business that demonstrated the best balance of gender diversity and commitment to the progression of women within the company.

The Female Founder of the Year goes to a woman who has started her own company and is rising to the top in her field. She is not only a successful businesswoman but is also empowering women around her to rise and succeed. She is an inspiration to all.

Our Young Businesswoman of the Year Award shines a light on women under the age of 30 who have already made an impact despite their short time in the business world. Nominate a businesswoman for this category if she has grown her business or advanced her career in a noteworthy way. She needs to be truly exceptional and stand out head and shoulders above the rest.

The C-Suite Award honors top-level female executives, celebrating their success and vision from across several sectors and industries. She has shown outstanding leadership and we want to acknowledge and celebrate these inspiring women and shine the spotlight on their success and innovation as well as thank her for the example she is setting for other women across the country.

This award recognizes the business in the financial services industry that demonstrated the most beneficial social and community engagement program focused on women during the 2023 calendar year.

This category assesses the outcomes of the community service program, taking into account the benefits to the cause or purpose supported as well as the tangible business benefits

Gender equality can only be achieved only if the education given to girls is fully attained.

The winner of this category is honored for using her voice, leadership, and influence to make progress for girls’ education in Rwanda.

Investing in girls’ education transforms communities, countries, and the entire world. Girls’ education strengthens economies and reduces inequality. It contributes to more stable, resilient societies that give all individuals – including boys and men – the opportunity to fulfill their potential.

This category goes to the private institutions that have fully invested in supporting the improvement of girl-child education in Rwanda.

Despite the existing modalities and opportunities to promote policy influencing and advocacy, very few civil society actors can draw attention to a wide range of education policy topics and influence decisions on education policies.

This award goes to the most Active Civil Society organization in promoting Gender Responsive and Inclusive Quality Education in Rwanda

The woman who wins this award will have made a real impact on farming over the past years. She will have made an outstanding contribution to her farm and have drawn attention to farming issues more widely to benefit the whole sector.

Open to women working within the agricultural supply chain, including suppliers of inputs, logistics, or food processing, the winner of this award will have made a significant contribution to her business or the agricultural sector

The winner of this award will be a woman who has demonstrated a commitment to reducing the carbon footprint of her business, or within the sector to improve sustainability. The winner will be leading the way to net zero by implementing practices and innovations that support environmental protection and business viability.

Open to agronomists, vets, and other consultants to farm businesses, the winner of this award will have made a big difference to the people and farms she works with

This award will be given to a woman who has been behind an initiative, idea, or business development concept that has come to fruition in the last 12 months, and that is demonstrably new in her business or sector.

A female-led agricultural business will be named Business of the Year. It must demonstrate year-on-year growth, high efficiency, and financial soundness, and be at the forefront of technological developments and innovation. The business will have a strong and passionate woman-majority leadership team, that values its workforce, and a marketing plan that will ensure the continued and further growth of the business.

This Award is presented to an Instrumental female lawyer who delivered and promoted pro-bono legal services in Rwanda.

The nominee should have engaged in the direct delivery of legal services to clients or a group of clients over an extended period and those efforts should be ongoing.

 Nominees must not be employed on a full-time basis by an organization that has as its primary purpose the provision of free legal services to the poor.

This Award is presented to a female trailblazer in advancing women’s rights and promoting gender equality in Rwanda.
